Our Hop Barn is a stunning backdrop for your twilight wedding year round, with ceremonies starting from 4.30pm. At this time soft daylight and estuary views stream in through three sets of French doors, meeting golden fairy lights, warm woods and oak tones, further enhancing the romantic setting.

Twilight weddings can be held Monday-Thursday year round, with Fridays and weekend dates available during the winter months, or for late available summer dates.

New from April 2026, you can celebrate your twilight wedding in our gorgeous Spring Barn, with its stunning views of the Swale estuary. As dusk sets in, this beautiful backdrop sets the perfect mood for your ceremony. The barn’s unique Oak Hammerbeam Frame and cathedral-like ceiling creates a grand yet welcoming space, seating up to 260 guests.

If you have fewer than 130 guests for your ceremony, you can add the Spring Barn as an optional upgrade. For larger weddings, it's included as one of your ceremony options.

Twilight wedding ceremonies can be held beneath our beautiful Oak Gazebo, outdoors from April-October. With the estuary and wild meadows beyond, this idyllic backdrop is completed by romantic festoon lighting through the landscaped Rose Garden.

Opting for a more relaxed twilight wedding doesn’t mean the celebration has to be brief! With our new fully bespoke two-day package, you can extend the festivities and make your wedding even more memorable. Enjoy a pre-wedding night gathering at the charming Mocketts Farm Cottages, surrounded by your closest friends and family, or invite your entire wedding party—up to 70 guests—to join in the fun!

Golden hour - a photographer's favourite! Is there any wonder, with soft and diffused light casting the landscape in a warm, golden glow. A twilight wedding allows you to take full advantage of this magical time of day. Preserve those special moments in photo form from the waterside wild meadows, wedding garden and Secret Orchard, or have fun with the dramatic effects of artificial light with a sparkler-lit walkway or illuminated dance floor!

Our two beautiful 'readying rooms' - The Garden Lodge and The Coach Lounge - are available from 10am on the day of your twilight wedding. This lovely long pampering period means you can really relax into your celebrations - perhaps with a bottle of fizz and a delicious brunch platter - as you get aisle ready.

Ideal for couples who want less formality and more time with their loved ones on their wedding day! After your ceremony relax into a leisurely drinks and canape reception, with a wealth of popular and local drink options served from our beautiful vintage carts. Then from 7pm your evening reception begins. Forget seating plans and sit down meals, simply mingle and dance as you graze your way through a delicious buffet-style spread. Your food is created by our award winning team of chefs using our Kitchen Garden and home-farmed produce, along with ingredients from handpicked Kent producers.

Five luxurious rooms are located above our barn wedding venue, with a further six rooms in the Coach House and five self catering cottages also available to book, so up to 70+ of your guests can end your day in style and comfort, and then join you for breakfast the following morning as you reminisce and eek out the celebrations a little longer.

7pm sees your drinks reception move effortlessly in to evening celebration mode! Our wedding DJ is included in your twilight wedding package and knows exactly how to get your guests on their feet. Our state of the art stereo system contains the music to the dance floor, so other guests can relax, mingle and talk with ease if they're not cutting some shapes.
