Our Very Own Group of Girl Bosses

Headed up by the wonderful Tasha, our wedding team boast a multitude of wedding knowledge from experience at The Ferry House & beyond. We like to think the people organising your wedding really help to set the tone for the day, that’s why we pride ourselves on a fun, friendly & professional approach leading up to the ‘I dos’. You’ll probably have the pleasure of meeting majority of our team when visiting for your meetings, menu tasting or showing friends & family around, but here’s a little bit about the lovely ladies helping to organise the best day or your lives!

Tasha

After starting at The Ferry House as a waitress on our many weddings, Tasha is now head of the team. Alongside coming up with loads of exciting ideas and opportunities to expand as a wedding venue, Tasha leads viewings of our venue. Being part of the team for over a decade now means you're in very safe hands!

Georgina & Kayleigh

Georgina joined the team when she returned to work after starting a family. She also started as a waitress for our weddings but after showing her potential, she was asked to join the team and is now our Wedding & Event Supervisor. Kayleigh has also worked at The Ferry House for many years. After welcoming a baby boy, she is returning to the team in an entirely new role as Client Relationship Executive, after starting in our Housekeeping department. Georgina & Kayleigh help Tasha with our viewings so you may get to meet them on your first visit!

Sam & Maxine

Our amazing Wedding Coordinators and Venue Hosts! You'll meet Sam & Maxine from your second planning meeting and they will be your point of contact from then on. They are on hand to help with whatever is needed in the lead up to your big day, meaning they are completely clued up on everything going on when they run your wedding day.

Ellie

Ellie started at The Ferry House as a table runner, working her way up the wedding department ladder and is now our Wedding Planner. Ellie helps out wherever she can; in wedding office admin, planning menu tasters, hosting viewings and helping in the set up for wedding days. You'll definitely speak to Ellie at least once in your wedding planning process, she's a good egg!

How We Roll

Making your planning journey as smooth as possible

Throughout your wedding planning process, you’ll more than likely be lucky enough to talk to every member of our weddings team. Rather than having a single ‘Wedding Coordinator’ from booking, we like to double up on all elements of your planning. This way, if there are any unforeseen circumstances on your wedding day, such as illness within our team, someone is ready to jump in. You will be allocated your Venue Host around 6 months prior to your wedding who will be your main point of contact.

Our whole team are dedicated to making your wedding the best day of your lives. From our garden team keeping our gardens beautiful all year round and housekeeping making sure all your guests enjoy a comfortable nights sleep, to our chefs putting a whole lot of love and care into every dish and of course our Front of House team who you will meet every time you visit.

A fully guided experience making it as easy as possible for us along every step of the way.
Extremely helpful staff throughout the whole process and made us feel supported and calmed our nerves.
The venue is visually amazing and all of the staff take it to another level!
Another simple, but major thing was how well we were welcomed every time we visited. Every member of staff welcomed us in such a friendly manner and immediately offered us drinks whilst we waited. It made us know we’d made the right decision every time we came back.

Firstly our wedding cordinator "Sam". She was amazing from start to then our special day. It was lovely meeting Sam in person for all our meetings and also getting back to us so quickly with any queries we had. The Ferry House team as a whole were all so lovely, such a lovely team and nothing was ever too much trouble. It was the little gestures that went a long way for us. Our wedding day went perfect and everything I could imagine and that was a massive thanks to the Ferry House team.
