Meet Our Wedding Team

You’ll quickly get to know our friendly and dedicated wedding team as you plan your big day. From your first enquiry to the day after your wedding (and beyond!), we're here to make everything as easy and stress-free as possible with our warm, welcoming approach.

Tasha leads our team with a decade of experience at The Ferry House, while Georgina, Kayleigh, and Ellie will guide you through the venue during your initial visits. On the big day, Sam and Maxine will be your Venue Hosts, overseeing everything and conducting your planning meetings leading up to the event. We also have our Wedding Assistants, who will be on hand the morning of your big day, helping to make the venue come to life with your decor and personal touches. With years of experience at both The Ferry House and in the wedding industry, our entire team is always just an email or phone call away to help with any questions you may have.

Meet The Team

Personal Planning Meetings

Your wedding planning journey typically starts around a year before the big day with your first meeting, hosted by Georgina, Kayleigh, or Ellie. This session is all about discussing your initial plans and ideas while answering any of those early questions you may have about the steps to planning your wedding.

If you’ve booked a full-day package, your second planning meeting will happen about 6-8 months before the wedding. During this meeting, you’ll be introduced to your Venue Host—either Sam or Maxine—who will guide you through the wedding day schedule and begin finalising important details.

Your final meeting, scheduled 6-8 weeks before the big day, is where all the details come together. This is when your Venue Host will go over every aspect of your day. They’ll work closely with you to prepare for sign-off a few weeks ahead of time, so everyone’s on the same page.

Taster Evenings

One of the most exciting parts of your wedding day is, without a doubt, the food! Our wedding menus celebrate the best of local produce—from homegrown ingredients in our Kitchen Garden to beef from our family farm just up the road, and carefully selected produce from across our estate and Kent. With so many delicious options, choosing your perfect menu might feel overwhelming. That’s why we invite all couples booking a full-day wedding to a special Taster Evening in the months before your big day. You’ll sample your chosen selection of canapés, dishes, and wines to help you make those tough choices for your wedding breakfast.

This evening is also a great chance to visit us again—whether you bring friends and family for their advice or turn it into a date night for just the two of you. Plus, you’ll be able to check another item off your wedding to-do list while enjoying some quality time together.

Wedding Food & Drink

On Your Wedding Day

Your dedicated Venue Host will be by your side on the big day to ensure everything runs smoothly. They’ve been with you throughout your wedding planning journey, so they’ll know exactly what needs to happen and when. From keeping your wedding day timeline on track to getting you down the aisle, ensuring the quality of food and drink, and making sure your day exceeds your expectations right up until the morning after—our Venue Hosts, Maxine and Sam, have years of experience and have hosted countless weddings, so you can relax knowing you're in great hands.

Your Wedding Assistant will also be there from the moment you arrive to help you have a stress-free morning as you get ready with your wedding party in either our Garden Lodge or Coach Lounge. They’ll be busy setting up your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and any décor that hasn’t been left to a stylist, bringing your vision to life. They’ll be on hand for anything you need while you get aisle-ready.
