For your 2026 countryside wedding, The Ferry House offers three stunning ceremony spaces: the Oak Gazebo, Hop Barn, and the new Spring Barn*, each with its own charm and flexibility for personalisation. Our new Spring Barn, included in packages of 130+ guests or a package extra for smaller gatherings, offers a grand setting for up to 260 guests. With its spacious, elegant design, it's a beautiful space to host your ceremony and all other elements of your special day. The Oak Gazebo, available from April-October, is perfect for outdoor ceremonies, seating up to 200 guests with breathtaking views of the Swale estuary as you exchange your vows. If you're looking for something more intimate, the Hop Barn provides a cosy, enchanting atmosphere with hop-hung beams and twinkling fairy lights, ideal for a ceremony surrounded by up to 130 of your closest friends and family.

Enjoy your drinks reception in your own private pub, a charming space with beautiful period features and Kentish hops. It’s especially inviting in the winter months with the open fires blazing, and a cosy lounge next door for guests who prefer a quieter spot. For an outdoor option, our terrace by the Rose Garden offers a relaxed setting. We'll serve canapes and drinks from our vintage cart, and cold beers in wheelbarrows. For added charm, we can set up hay bales for seating and wooden outdoor games for some entertainment.

For your 2026 wedding, you have the choice between our two beautiful wedding breakfast and evening reception spaces. The Hop Barn, is perfect for a more intimate gathering of up to 70 guests for your wedding breakfast or up to 100 guests for your evening reception. It offers a cosy, charming space with French doors that open to stunning views of the terrace, Rose Garden, and estuary. The Spring Barn, accommodating up to 260 guests for your wedding breakfast or up to 350 for your evening reception, is ideal for those who want to make a statement but still enjoy a vibe as relaxed and informal as you wish. With its bi-folding doors, the beauty of the surrounding landscape becomes an integral part of your celebration. Complete with an in-room bar, dance floor and our in-house DJ included in your package, the space will set the tone for an unforgettable night.

With our new 2026 menu crafted by our 2AA Rosette awarded chefs, from the moment your guests arrive, we've got every bite and sip covered. Enjoy a selection of canapes paired with local bubbles during your drinks reception. For your wedding breakfast, choose from a three-course meal with three options per course or a relaxed Kentish hog roast. Our taster evenings let you sample the menu with friends and family to ensure you pick the perfect dishes. Plus, we include half a bottle of wine per guest and toasting drinks for speeches. As the night unfolds, keep the energy high with our new evening food selection and exciting late-night bites. You can even return to our barn wedding venue long after your big day at our pop-up dining events to celebrate anniversaries or enjoy a cosy date night at your special place.

A unique perk of hosting your 2026 wedding with us is our luxury on-site accommodation. We offer eleven beautifully appointed rooms for up to 22 guests onsite, and five charming self-catering cottages at Mocketts Farm, just up the road, for an additional 47+ guests. Your wedding package includes a honeymoon suite for your first night—choose from Room 5 with its romantic sleigh bed and spa bath or Room 6 with a grand four-poster bed and copper bath. All other rooms are available for your guests. The next morning, enjoy an award-winning breakfast together, extending the joy of your special day.

As you prepare for your countryside barn wedding, our packages include two dedicated getting ready spaces. The Garden Lodge, set in our Kitchen Garden, offers a serene atmosphere with rustic touches, mirror seating for three, a cosy lounge, and a hair washing basin. The Coach Lounge is ideal for gathering your wedding party, enjoying some bubbles, and soaking up the excitement. Both spaces are designed to help you relax and calm any last-minute nerves. For an extra touch, add a delicious brunch platter and more bubbles to start the celebration.

We're thrilled to unveil our new planning portal, launching in early 2025! This tool will simplify your wedding planning by bringing everything together in one place—supplier coordination, guest RSVPs, documents, and payments—all accessible from your phone. But don’t worry, our experienced team will still be here to help. You’ll get up to three personal planning meetings to guide you through every detail, and one of our in-house Wedding Coordinators will be your Venue Host on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
