Welcome to our beautiful waterside barn wedding venue in Kent. You’ll find us secreted away beside the Swale estuary among a picture-perfect landscape of wild meadows and natural wetland reserves.

Secluded yet accessible just 60 minutes from London, we specialise in refined, rustic and relaxed weddings, with luxurious accommodation for 70+ guests and delicious menus using our homegrown, family-farmed and locally sourced produce.

We can help you curate a 2024 or 2025 wedding worthy of the best day of your lives, with dates available up to 31^st October 2025. After this date we close our diary as we begin renovations on a beautiful, additional wedding barn, opening for celebrations from April 2026.

Our wedding venue offers eleven individually-styled, 4* ensuite guest rooms, plus five charming self-catering cottages just five minutes from The Ferry House. A perfect way to extend your celebrations, waking up to a fabulous Ferry House breakfast and the time to reminisce together.

People come together and make treasured memories over food. This is especially true of a wedding, with dining a big part of your celebration. We love creating the feasts that wow you and your guests! With a strong farming heritage, our 2AA Rosette awarded chefs are equally passionate about the provenance of our food. It’s no surprise then, that home-grown, home-farmed and our Kent estate produce takes ‘pride of plate’ throughout our expansive wedding menus.

Come and see our wedding venue styled for a beautiful Hop Barn wedding ceremony and Event Suite wedding breakfast on selected dates through out the year. Personal Wedding Planning

Planning your wedding should be fun and stress-free. Our friendly, experienced and ultra-organised Wedding Coordinators will help you bring your day to life in up to three personal wedding meetings, plus a taster evening to choose your wedding menu and wine.  On the day of your wedding our weddings assistant will be on hand to set up your décor, with a wedding coordinator as Venue Host. This means the people who know your day most are there to ensure it runs just so, for the best and most relaxed occasion for you.
