2AA ROSETTE AWARDED RESTAURANT TASTE OF KENT WINNER 2018 & 2014

“The winner is Kent to its core, local everything from cider to the cows grazing in the surrounding land, served with top end personal service by staff whose knowledge of the local area was as if they were born and raised there. “Quite simply the best all round experience shouting Kent”

Sublime

The sun was shining, the temperature was clement and we decided to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch - and how glad we were that we made that decision. The Ferry House treated us to a wonderful game-led experience. Partridge and venison were delicious, the Sunday roast beef was sublime and the vegetable-based desserts were a revelation. Coupling this with a pleasant ambience and delightful service made for a lunch to remember. Although not cheap, the Ferry House is worth every penny

Family Sunday Lunch

We visited for a family Sunday lunch, having attended a wedding there the previous day. We were all made to feel welcome, including the dog and our 4 monnth old granddaughter!
We all opted for the two course Sunday lunch with the majority of us picking beef, which was tender and very well presented with an array of fresh veg. The desserts were amazing, very imaginative, and tasty.
The Ferry House is a little of the beaten track but so worth the drive. I wish it was just a bit nearer to 'home' as it would definitely become a 'regular' !!

A Delightful Stay

A fantastic stay. Room was immaculate, with a great view. Food was delicious (farm to table), the flavours of the meat were incredible.
Perfect cocktails and Susie makes an amazing french martini
